I just found out New Mexico won't send death certificates unless the requesting party is a direct descendant. I am trying to find out information on my grandfather's cousin and her husband, so I am not related closely enough to get their death certificates. Next choice is to hopefully find obituaries. Freda Hazel Scriven WARDHAUGH was born 23 Sep 1892 in Geneva, Fillmore, Nebraska. The SSDI has her birth year as 1895. She died in Albuquerque in July 1973. I would especially like to find the date of death, burial information, and anything else the obituary might contain. Her husband, Frederick WARDHAUGH, was born 22 Mar 1889, place unknown. He died in Albuquerque in June 1973. I would like to find his obituary to find out where he was born, exact death date, burial information, parents' names, and whatever else might be there.
