He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Edna Ruth McCollum and Elizabeth Howard; his sister, June Evelyn Fowner; bother, Steven Edward Fowner. He is survived by his son, Carl Brian Fowner of Austin, TX; father, Leo Fowner and wife, Arlene of Grants, NM; mother, Shirley Bogart and husband, Virgil of Fence Lake, NM; bothers, James Fowner and wife, Jeannie of Fence Lake, NM, Andrew Fowner and wife, Michele of Tijeras, NM; sister, April Armstad and boyfiend, Fella Coleman of Albuquerque, NM; step-brother, Andrew Key and wife, Linda of Albuquerque, NM; step-sister, Debra Key of Albuquerque, NM; fourteen beloved nieces and nephews, Stefanie, Shirley, Andrew, Pattie, Jolene, Stacy, Bruiser, Nicole, James Jr., Cassie, Thomas, Nicholas, Daniel, Jennifer; and! a very special life long friend, Sandy Baca. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 1 at 1:00 p.m. at his sisters home at 4427 Prince SE.
