Thank you, thank you. I am looking into my family history that runs from New Mexico into Colorado. My Grandparents Lucero - Grandfather was born in Ceja NM. (Sam) Ursulo born to Alberto and Martina (Muniz) Lucero in 1912. Sadie my Grandmother was born in Trinidad in 1919 to Jose & Delfina (Vigil) Lopez. My Grandparents were Married around 1930, 31. My Mother was first born to them in 1937 Maria there were 15 or 16 other children after that. I have written the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Trinidad, Co for information a few months back and also St Augustines in Brighton Co, I haven't heard anything yet. My Grandparents moved around quite a bit, first my Grandfather worked in the mine in Trinidad he was gone for six months at a time then were migrants where they followed the fields. They lived in Rockyford, Pueblo, Erie, Longmont, Lyons, others I'm sure then they settled in Frederick Co where my Grandmother died in 1981 buried in Longmont. My Grandfather Died in 1985 in Trinidad and was buried in Longmont also. My Great Grandmother Martina died in late 1985 after all her kids died she lived in Pueblo, when she died she was Martina Gauna I knew some of the Gaunas some are from Pueblo and Longmont. I also heard that my Grandfather had a Sister named Susie I don't know if that is the right spelling or know anything about her I believe she was younger than him. My Dads family came from NM my Dad Joe Chavez (Jose, Joseph) was born in Des Moines and 1932 he was the youngest of 7 or 8 kids whom half are step brothers and sisters. He was Born to Antonio and Simonita Chavez and was baptized in DesMoines. I do not know anything about my Grandparents nor have I ever seen a picture of them. The reason for Ceja NM is that I obtained my Grandfathers baptism certificate and it states he was born in Ceja NM and another document I have shows his place of birth as Bueros, NM. I dont find anything on that location, however I do find a Bueyeros, NM.
