Jose Alcaro de Herrera was baptized 13 Jan 1857 at San Juan de los Caballeros (LDS Film 16976). Parents on record are Juan Lorenzo de Herrera and Maria Paula Romero. Paternal grandparents are Juan de Herrera and Maria Ysabel Montoya. Maternal grandparents are Lorenzo Romero and Maria Josefa Gallegos. Miguel Antonio de Herrera was baptized 16 Apr 1859, same place, same parents on record. No grandparents named. LDS film #16981. Maria Ysidora de Herrera was baptized 25 May 1861, same place, same parents on record. No grandparents named. LDS film #16976. This recod identified further lineage: Maria Gregoria de los Dolores de Herrera was born 9 Sep 1835 and baptized 13 Sep 1835, same place. Parents were Juan de Herrera and Ysabel Montoya. Paternal grandparents were Juan Manuel de Herrera and Maria del Carmen Manzanares. Maternal grandparents were Domingo Montoya and Lorenza Espinosa. LDS Film #16981. LDS Film #16981 also contained the following marraige record: Juan Jose de Herrera (age 25), son of Jose Manuel de Herrera and Carmen Manzanares -- married Maria Ysbel Montoya (age 23), daughter of Domingo Montoya and Maria Lorenza Espinosa. LDS Film #16982. These records are all from the LDS records that I have on CD. I recommend that you locate these LDS films and double-check them because the CD has been known to have errors. Also, go into NMGenWeb Rio Arriba county and post your further queries there because no records were found in Bernalillo county. Angela
a little problem here..... The films of Archdiocese of Santa Fe which covers all of New Mexico are RESTRICTED. Can not be circulated to any Family History Centers. Available only at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. The only other place that have duplicate films are at the offices of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe in Santa Fe, NM.
