Their death index includes dates from 1888-2000 and they only have obits at their library from 1951-2000. Any obits earlier than that (if found on their index), would be at the main library downtown. The library staff also told me that if a family chose not to pay for an obituary, nothing was put in the newspaper. Sorry I couldn't find what you wanted.
