He married Daisy Kathryn WALKER b. 20 Dec. 1879 in Ravenswood, Jackson Co., WV on November 1, 1902 in Taylor Co., WV. Their children Francis Lowell, Leland Russell, Gerald Leslie, Lucile Virginia and Maxine were born in East Liverpool, Columbiana Co., OH. Their youngest child, Joseph (Jimmie Wallace) was born 22 Feb. 1911 in Albuquerque. William later married Della BROWNE with whom he had a daughter Mary Bernardine. William was the Editor and Publisher of "The New Mexico Farmer and Conversancy News" and was a candidate for county commissioner on the Republican ticket in the 1942 election. William G.was my grandfather.

Wingate,N.M. until about 1899. They then moved to Albuquerque, Bernalillo County where he worked for a while as a bartender. He then went to work for the Santa Fe Railroad as a Machinist. He left his family there during the first WW and worked in the Ship Yard at Mare Island. I know that he was born in England on 12 July 1861 to George BROWN and ---DARBEY. I would like to know why his name became WICKHAM instead of BROWN. His wife was Annie Rose CLEGHORN.

No other children were shown. I believe this is the same William Francis MOORE (although I've never seen him with the name Archibald) and Susan M. THOMPSON who were in 1880 Navarro Co., TX, and 1900 Wichita Reservation, OK Terr. Other children (all born in TX) were John B. MOORE, b abt 1879; Thomas E. MOORE, b Aug 1885; Francis L. MOORE (male), b Apr 1886; Zettie C. MOORE, b Aug 1890; Jenettie MOORE, b June 1892; and Bellie A. MOORE (female), b July 1896. I have never been able to find this family after 1900. The site showed that William Francis Archibald MOORE died 1 Feb 1935 in NM (buried in Santa Fe Co.) and that Susan died in Lawton, Comanche Co., OK.
