Born Aug. 24, 1953, in Albuquerque, N.M., she had been a Yolo County resident for 30 years. She was a 1972 graduate of Woodland High School and a graduate of MCI in Sacramento. She had been employed by Nabors Drilling of Bakersfield and was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary in both Woodland and Bakersfield. Mrs. Snow is survived by her husband, James Roy Snow; sons, James William Moffett, and Robert Snow and wife Janetta and Denice Snow; and grandchildren, Bri-Leigh Shian and Scotlan Hanna Snow, all of Bakersfield. Also surviving are her parents Mr. and Mrs. Harold A. "Slim" Roberts of Paradise; sisters, Denice Carlson, and Darla O'Shea and husband George, all of Denton Texas; stepsisters, Phyllis Deats, and Kelly Yasbek; stepbrother, Les Roberts of Woodland; and numerous aunts; uncles; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, John A. Moffett. The family requests memorials be directed to Yolo Hospice. Hillcrest Park Mortuary of Bakersfield assisted the family with arrangements. I'm tracing a lost branch of the family tree and it goes through Albuquerque. Specifically I'm looking for William L. BLACK who lived in Albuquerque in 1964. (The information came from an obituary in Colorado when another ancestor passed away.) My question is this: Did Albuquerque publish a city directory in 1964 and, if so, would the directory be available through the local library? What's the exact name of the local library system?
