I have noticed a major drop off in letters to the list serve in the last two weeks. Today, for the first time in I don't know how long, I didn't have any mail come in from the list. I can only attribute this to the horrible tragedy we have all suffered through as of late. As we work work through our national grief, it is important to stay connected to others: our families, our friends, and those whom we know in passing. This includes staying involved in our daily activities, even those that bring us joy. It would seem to me that the list is a good way to stay in touch with others, to work toward normal activities. In times of stress having an activity that brings joy is important. In this era of our nation's history it is important to reach out to others, but it is also important to continue doing those things you enjoy. If you give up joy and retreat, then those who sought to do us harm have won. I look forward to seeing mail from all of you in the days to come. It does bri! ghten my day!
