Known also as the Old Moravian Cemetery. Occupation on 1850 Census: Weaver. Resided in the Village of Hope in 1850. Son of JOSEPH READ, born 10 January 1777, died 11 November 1806 and MARY KIRKPATRICK, born 21 February 1777, died 11 March 1821, both buried Union Brick Cemetery, Union Brick and Heller Hill Roads, Blairstown Township, Warren County. Grandson of JOSEPH READ and SARAH SUTTON, and of JOHN KIRKPATRICK and LYDIA LEWIS. DAVID READ married three times First to UNKNOWN, circa 1820. Second to KEZUAH FORCE, 12 November 1842 in Warren County. Third to ELIZABETH LAURONSON of Stillwater, Sussex County on 29 July 1849, in Warren County. Ceremony performed by Elder Edward Barrass, a Baptist minister. Had at least four children, three by the first wife and one by Keziah Force.
