SNYDER JOHN CUMMINS Born: circa 1834 Died: Unknown Married: Unknown John Cummins the father petitioned the Orphans Court of Warren County during the June 1832 Term to appoint commissioners to divide the real estate of his late father-in-law David Read (died 1831). In June 1832, only John's wife Lavina Read Cummins and her brother Isaac S. Read were of legal age. Her other brothers and sisters were all minors and could not sign a deed of partition or division. These siblings were Joseph M., Sarah Ann (Sally), Eleanor (Ellen) and David J. (Jackson) Read. John Cummins is not listed as Head of Household on the 1840 United States Census, his wife Lavina Cummins was the head. There were two chldren in the house, assumed to be the two children listed above. I am interested in tracing the descendants of the children of John Cummins and Lavina Read. Would also like to know Joseph's parentage and dates of birth and death.
