While I was reading the History of Warren County I came across something about the Theodore Paul mansion, northeast corner of Market and water Streets, Belevedere. Built prior to 1800 by Thomas Paul who came there 1792. The brother of my great grandfather,Jacob Cunningham/Baylor was Theodore Paul Cunningham/Baylor and I am wondering if his name Theodore Paul came from the name of this mansion. We can account for most of the first names being handed down but never could figure out where Theodore or Paul originated. Maybe my great great grandmother worked there. Does this house still stand?
