Greetings;       Since we've been takling about Pennsylvania, I thought I'd add a few words. It is of interest that many of those living in Warren and Sussex Counties, New Jersey later moved to the Newton-Ransom area of Northeastern Pennsylvania (outside of Scranton). In fact, Newton Township was actually named for Newton, New Jersey. My POWELL ancestors were among those that moved to the Ransom Township area fron Warren County. There is a site on genealogy in Newton-Ransom.
