    2. Regarding Stewart's query on the Majors, I'm curious if anyone recognizes the origin of this name "Osee" - sometimes spelled "Ose" or "Ocey" or "Ozea" too? There were a number of females with this name in Warren County in 1850, a larger cluster than I've found anywhere else. This has been one of my side obsessions for a few years and will welcome any insight.
