There are two Presbyterian Churches in Cranbury, NJ. 2nd Presbyterian AKA Westminster 1st Presbyterian AKA Brainerd AKA Cranbury Yard. 22 S Main St., Cranbury, NJ 08512-3112 (609) 395-0897 Some time ago SKS snail mailed me photo copies of pages from what were obviously books of transcriptions. The pages only contained the names I was looking for. PRALL and PETTY. They were two different books. One copy (Brainerd) had a fancy border around the pages. The Petty page was on 563 of the 1st Presbyterian - Brainerd transcription. In the transcription of the 2nd Presbyterian - Westminster there were some Petty names on page 21 & 22, Prall on page 22. The SKS didn't ever send me the source information. I would still like to know the source of the copies. Pat Mount, Listowner, messaged a year ago that ""the records of the 1st Presbyterian Church were transcribed as someone's DAR project and are available at the History Center (NOT the museum). 2nd Pres. remerged with the 1st Pres. which they had split from late 1700's or early 1800's. Found in both are names associated with 1st Pres. Baptists formed church about 1745 but moved to Hightstown before 1800. ...think the Baptist church serving Cranbury today is located in Monroe. Methodists were there early too and church there about 1845."" Go to the web site for the Cranbury Historical Society, and you'll find the address for what you want.
