Mr. Charles Stuart Prestopine has graciously accepted an invitation to speak at the regular meeting of the Stillwater Historical Society on Thursday June 8, 2006 at 7:30 PM. Charlie is an active participant in reenactments of the Revolutionary and Civil Wars and will bring us insight into these two historical periods of history. Mr. Prestopine taught American History and history of the Far East in New Jersey Public Schools for 31 years. In addition he maintains leadership roles and/or membership in many organizations ranging from War Memorial Committees to the Department of Environmental Protection and the "Olde Presbyterian Burial Ground Committee" of Hackettstown.
