    3. The Historical Society of Stillwater is hosting it's annual Stillwater Peach Festival on *Sunday August 20, 2006 from 1pm to 4pm at the Museum*. On that day members of the Society will provide peaches so selectively fresh and succulent as not to be found at the usual sources of fresh fruit. This is the last major event of the Summer Season and the last opportunity for friends and neighbors to join in the sharing of good fellowship amidst the sound of music and laughter. This is a wonderful event for kids of all ages! Don Thoenig will assuredly delight you with his musical entertainment and Mr. Hecht will be giving *horse drawn wagon rides*! Don't miss this event! Once again there will be a bake sale as we indulge ourselves with delicious "Peachy" preparations. An entry fee of $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for young children is required. Our membership drive is in full swing: Join now to gain full advantage of membership. Ask about sale items... Membership in the Historical Society of Stillwater is open to all residents and friends of historic preservation in or out of Stillwater Township. The museum is open every Sunday from 2pm to 4pm during June, July and August. Meetings are held on the *second Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM* in the museum across from the Presbyterian Church on the corner of Route 521 and Stillwater Road. All visitors and prospective members are welcome. We all hope to see you at this years Peach Festival!
