Hello Friends of History, The Historical Society of Stillwater Twp is holding it's first annual fall festival this coming Saturday October 14th from 11am until 5pm. There will be fun, games and prizes for the children, hay rides, pony rides and horse-drawn carriage rides. Activities include pumpkin painting, face painting, hay mazes and assorted games. There will be craft, antique and food vendors as well. This will be a great day of fun in Stillwater NJ and all proceeds benefit the Historical Society of Stillwater Township. Admission is $5. BRING YOUR ANTIQUES FOR APPRAISAL! There will be two Civil War experts, both appraise WW I & II items. Two jewelers father and son, one is a certified gemologist and one was an appraiser for Tiffany. Russ Eaton will do Porcelain, paintings, pottery, furniture, and decorative items. Great value with the group. These guys are very sharp and customers will get a lot for their money. Appraisal $5/item The museum will be open to the public. Come see our amazing collection of local artifacts. Cider and donuts will be served at the museum. A walking Tour of the Village of Stillwater starts at 12 noon and will be lead by Tina Keppler. (free T-shirt with $10 donation) We hope to see you at this years fall festival!
