    2. Hi Folks, When you are visiting the Knowlton Cemetery, I would be grateful if you would keep the TINSMAN name in mind. I don't expect that you will see any as they would be early 1800's so probably field stones. Thank you.. Sally in Maine

    3. Carol Perkins, Back in August you wrote on this list that you had ancestral connections through the SHIPMAN line. Since your posting invited my response I sent you an off line attachment containing a *.pdf file (23 pages on my early SHIPMAN ancestors). Two weeks later I sent you a followup message inquiring as to whether you had received the information. I never received an answer on line or off line acknowledging my messages. I assume my information was of no value since I never heard from you. 2. Marshall (and Bob), This cemetery is directly across the street from the Knowlton Presbyterian Church. The web site for the church has a link to click for directions...but it's really only a map. http://www.knowltonpca.org/main.html Originally, the First German and English Congregation of Knowlton (where so many of our ancestors were baptized) was on the same side of the street. After it burned, the Presbyterian Church was built on the other side of the street. Marshall, as you look at the map, you'll be pleased to see Brands Road and Linaberry Road! There are bears living in the area, so please keep alert for them. 3. Jen, I think I have a connection with your family. I believe Daniel's wife Sarah was Sarah Johnson, the daughter of William Johnson and Rachel Danley. There were also two older children in the family: Mary born 1833 in PA and Rachel born 1834 in PA. Mary and Amy are with William and Rachel Johnson in the 1850 Easton, PA census. I believe your Sarah is a niece to Azulah Danley and is named in her will. Does this fit with your findings? Carol

    1. [NJWARREN] DONALLY/Donnelly in county histories, township maps, tax lists, death records?
    2. I am looking for non-census information on the following DONALLY family (could also be spelled DONNELLY, DONELY, DONLEY, DONELLY, DANLEY, DONOLLY, etc). It is possible that Daniel and Sarah Donally died around 1900 in Warren County. Are they mentioned in any of the county histories, township maps, tax lists, or death records? In the 1860 census of Greenwich, Warren Co, NJ, family/dwelling #1185 was the Daniel and Sarah DONALLY family: Daniel Donally 52 b New York Sarah Donally 35(error?) b New Jersey Francis 23 NJ Amy (?) 22 NJ William 20 NJ John 18 NJ David 16 Penna James 10 NJ Newton 8 NJ Howard 6 NJ Daniel 3 NJ Thank you, Jen

    3. Close enough for me. The Express was always fairly consistent in getting the obits in promptly. Up here where I live now near Hazleton, the papers aren't so timely, especially with weddings. It seems that they must wait to see if the marriage outlasts the honeymoon.
