Hi, folks... Once more thanks to Sally Fisher's typing skills (and volunteerism), I've added another cemetery to my web site. This time it's East Stewartsville Cemetery, Greenwich Township, Warren County. You can find this list starting at http://raub-and-more.com/stewartsville/a-m.html Thanks, Sally!!! Jan Reuther
In 1912, Mrs. George Rinehart and Mrs. Mame E. Heed lived in Washington, Warren County, NJ. Mrs. John G. Simanton lived in Frenchtown, Hunterdon County, NJ. If you have information about these individuals, I would like to hear from you. Madge

Resent-Sender: [email protected] This was in Tues, 8 May, Springfield MO News Leader, p. 5B: Discovery of cemetery halts roadwork--Associated Press-Kansas City-- Construction of a new highway in south Kansas City has been halted by the discovery of a small cemetery dating back to the Civil War era. State officials are anxious to find any descendants of the Holloway family who are bured in the cemetery. If the heirs can't be found, the state will have to get court permission to move the nine graves in the plot, in order to finish a new Missouri 150. Construction workers recently unearthed a marble headstone, dating from 1858, while moving a large section of water pipe. Archaeologists later found another headstone and evidence of seven other graves. The site has not been disturbed further. -------- Please pass this on to other lists. Doris Wilson

I would also be interested in a contact person or organization for the Washington Cemetery. I was in Washington last fall but it was a holiday and there was no one at the office. I have several relatives buried there and I would like to find out the location of their graves before my next visit. Thanks. Alice
The owner is Theo Coleman. A nice gentleman. I saw him a week ago and told him that we had to get the cemetery on the net. Try the phone book. If any vol's are in the Washington area, one might be able to document it if they had a portable computer and would work there at his site. Frank Slocum
Does anyone have the contact information for the Washington Cemetery? Cordially, David Robinson
Sorry, I wrote the ebay item # incorrectly in my previous message. It's #1141340596 - "Five Pres.Church Greenwich,N.J.Warren Co." - Barbara
I typed in "Warren County N.J." on ebay, and item #1141240596 is five postcards from about 1908: the Presbyterian church in Greenwich, manse, and 3 of the cemetery (you can read Hawk on one of the monuments). It ends in 15 hours, and when I'm writing this it's almost 5pm west coast time - so it will be over in the morning on the east coast. I wish that's where my relatives were buried! - Barbara H.
