    3. Hello New Jersey Researchers, Over the course of the next few months I am going to update the USGenWeb New Jersey State Web Site. I order to do that, I would like your suggestions on what to reorganize and what to add. Please bear in mind that this is the state web site and all suggestions should be about the state as a whole and not individual counties. Currently, the state web site is located at: <http://www.rootsweb.com/~njgenweb/index.html> This web site will remain static during the updates and be closed when the updates are completed. The new site, which is available now and will be available all through the updating process, is located at: <http://www.virtualnewarknj.com/gennj/> Please send your suggestions to me by replying to this email. 1. Re: [NJWARREN] Lambertson 1829>1860 Pos. Warren Co., NJ > OH
    2. Jim - Believe I can help in some small way. Elizabeth W. LAMBERTSON was the eldest child of John & Sarah A. (WILSON). Elizabeth born 1823 Jun 07 @ Sussex (now Warren) Co, NJ and died 1860 Oct 11 @ OH. I am descended from her youngest brother, Cary. Elizabeth's father, John LAMBERTSON was born c.1805 @ NJ, moved to OH in the mid 1830s (1836?) with his inlaws, farmed and died there, and is buried in the municipal cemetery @ Farmersville, Montgomery Co, OH. John married 1822 Jul 06 with Sarah A. WILSON, born c.1805 @ NJ, moved to OH in the mid 1830s (1836?) with her husband, first six children, and her parents. She died in OH 1881 Dec 31 and is buried in the municipal cemetery, Farmersville, Montgomery Co, OH. Sarah's parents were Samuel & Elizabeth (_____) WILSON. Some of my information on Elizabeth differs slightly from yours but there is enough there for me to believe we're talking about the same person. I can document to some degree the information I have (mostly from secondary & terciary sources) so feel free to contact me directly if you wish to persue this line. Hope this helps - Larry Lambertson > I am trying to find some information on my GGGrandmother. What I am > confident in is the following: > > Elizabeth Lambertson: #149, b. 07-JUN-1829, NJ. 1. [NJWARREN] Roll Call: Souders, Smith, Rogers, Purdeau, Petty, Beidelman, Beer
    2. Warren Co. Lines: Souders George Edward Souders b. 10-19-1876 Finesville. d. 2-19-1928 Bethlehem, Pa. Son of Reuben Souders and Mary H. Smith. Reuben b. 1850 d. abt 1876, He is not listed at George Edward Souders' baptism as a parent. Only the mother is listed. Reuben is the son of George Souders and Mary Rogers. George Souders was b. 5-14-1814 New Village and d.12-27-1878 Greenwich Township. From here the line goes into Hunterdon Co. Mary Smith b. 1-21-1853 in Springtown. She had a twin sister Martha, who in Mary's obit. is listed as "Mrs. Smith" apparently she married a Smith. Mary is the daughter of William H. Smith and Charity Purdeau. William H. Smith b. 8-28-1800 Alexandria Township and is buried in Finesville, d. 4-12-1855. He was previously married to Sarah C. Egbert. William's parents are Harbert Smith (1766-1847) and Ann Huff (1777-1860) whose parents I still seek. Charity Purdeau is also listed as "Turdeau" . She was previously married to Michael Searfoss (1802-1850). Charity was b. 10-11-1809 in New Jersey according to census records and died 5-5-1885 and is buried at the Lutheran cemetery in Warren Co. There is no death certificate available under her Smith, Serfoss, or Purdeau names. Looking for her parents. Purdeau may be a Purdy or Depuy, knowing my relatives. Mary Rogers b.1814 d. 10-21-1884 is the daughter of Jacob and Mary Rogers. I assume the Jacob R. Rogers b. abt 1825 in the Warren Co. census records is her brother without any real proof. I am lost on this line. Another possible connection is Jonathan Beer who lived in the Easton area. He married an Anne. His will was probated in Northampton Co. in 1777. Some people believe he is an immigrant who married Anne Edwards in Philadelphia. I am skeptical. Joseph Petty who died 8-8-1799 Leigh Township. Also married an Anne. May be of Warren Co Petty/Pettit line. I am also searching for an Elias Beidelman born August of 1810. He lived in Heidelberg Township, Northampton Co. He may be from Warren Co. I have no idea, although to be honest, my first guess is Berks. Co. Pa. I thought I'd post anyway. Mike Ledo
