    2. Does anyone know the exact date of this fire, so the newspaper article can be found? The time of the fire was about 1879....Buildings involved were those of Dr. William VOORHEES and a Mrs. CONKLIN, and took the territory from 110 West Front St. to 140 West Front St. in Plainfield, Union Co., NJ. Occupants of burned buildings were: Dr. William H. VOORHEES, Drug Store. Mrs. CONKLIN, Millinery Store. Richard CORRIELL'S Dry Goods Store and Oliver RUNYON'S Furniture Store. The Gazelle Engine Company No.1 put the fire out. Alice
