Hello Everyone! Does anyone have any info on sewing factories in the Elizabeth area around the turn of the century? My grandmother Marie DECKER worked in one starting at the age of 14. I am also interested in immigration from Austria-Hungary to Elizabeth at the turn of the century. Should I look at the Port of New York for ship records?Any help would be greatly appreciated.
