Maybe we should look at it this way: Back in the days of John of Gaunt, the populus wasn't taught to read or write. Our lines can be traced partly because our ancestors were people who had the good fortune to be of families who could and did afford to educate their children, and we should keep in mind, humbly, that we had nothing to do with that! Be proud of your ancestry, it was a gift to you, but remember the line is only as good as what YOU do to improve it from here on out. Marj in NC
