    2. dfab, Below is a link that has some historical sites, including the Church you are probably interested in. You might want to visit the Graveyard too. Many a time, I wandered through there to see all of the old tombstones, and to read the plague on the Pres. Church saying that Aaron Burr and Alexander Hamilton attended services there. http://www.elizabethnj.org/histArchtect.htm/ This link shows "firsts" of Elizabeth: http://www.elizabethnj.org/histElizabethFirsts.htm/ The Main Library , which is very near the Pres. Church is a treasure trove of records. I had read that NJ was sending to the Archives, but I bet they still hold onto some valuable ones. I grew up in Elizabeth, leaving there as a teenager, but I loved it there. Alas, the Turnpike changed much, but not my love of the memories of there. Regards, Grace
