I just came across a NY Times newspaper article that I think involves one of my ancestors. Because the crime occurred in Elizabeth, I would think that the Elizabeth newspaper would have printed a more detailed account of the crimes. And the subsequent trial. The article was about the murder of an Elizabeth policeman on 12/15/1930. So, my question - how can I find out what was printed in the NJ newspaper - is there anyone out there who does this research at the Elizabeth Library? I tried the Library's website, but truthfully, I can't make heads or tails out of that site. It's frustrating being so far away. Help!!! Regards, Karen Isley Seiferth Florida
