    3. Hi Helaine, I think we have chatted before on this forum... Not only do I remember the Oxford, but I remember the "Liberty"just up the Street...Seems to me we paid about .11 to get into one of them...I spent many a Sunday afternoon there, and by myself, while my family was playing cards around the corner--would we dare do that today? I remember triple features, I think (?), of such as Laurel and Hardy, Abbott and Costello, Gene Auntry, and also a "serial" along with it... Yes, and in those days I guess we always had the uniformed ushers! Such memories, arn't they great?
