    3. Hello - Im fairly new to this geneaology stuff and could use some help. Im researching my Jenik line, and im not getting very far very fast. I would like to find out information on Joseph John Jenik. B: 19 June 1908 in Newark, and died 23 Sept, 1964 in NJ. He is buried at Hollywood Cemetary. What kind of information can i get from cemetary records? And how do i go about getting them? i am sending away for birth and death certificates. Will i get any additional information by calling them? Does anyone know how easy it is and how to go about getting info from the cemetary? Thanks for the help! Cathy Cathy Zacharias Album Maker Mom

    3. I recently wrote to Hollywood Cemetery and received this reply. "Hollywood Memorial was established in 1872. We currently have over 80,000 interments on record. Before the mid-1930's, all records were filed according to burial date and are listed in very old journals which are becoming difficult to handle. These records are currently being transferred onto our computers but due to the large amount of information, it will be quite some time before this process is complete. Searching our records does take valuable time. The Cemetery charges a fee of $30 per person, $15 per additional family member. To begin the search process, please fill out the enclosed form as accurately as possible and return it with your payment. As soon as your request and payment has been received we will begin the research process. It may take several weeks, so we do ask for your patience." Louise Williams Arnold, CA
