One of the earliest maps=20= I have with street names on it =AF in the 1860s =AF identifies a route alon= g what is now Stanley Terrace in Union as Vauxhall Road. Only if you work i= n an earlier period would that be confusing. What is now Vauxhall road was=20= there, but has no name on the map.
