Here is a suggestion for finding a death date. The New York Times has a every name index to their yearly index. I used this for the first time yesterday at local library. I was suprised at the number of Union Co. deaths that appeared in The New York Times. Luckly our library has the microfilms from early 1900 onwards. I didn't find all of my people but more then I expected. The Elizabeth Public Library also has copies of the local newpaper but it is not indexed. Regards Bill Researching Bernhard from Elizabeth
