In regards to the Rahway Cemetery - the gentleman in the office is rather old and has been hospitalized a few times in the past two years for various ailments, during which time there is no one in the office. I work in Rahway, and have asked a few times if I could look through the books myself, but I was told that they are too old and fragile to let everyone look through them. The cemetery is a thriving concern as they are selling spaces in their soon to be constructed musaleum, and why they don't hire another person to do this is beyond me. I don't know if they are still connected with the First Presbyterian Church in Rahway, but those people are equally uncooperative when it comes to sharing their records. There is a book of tombstone inscriptions for the Rahway cemetery. One copy is in the Westfield library.
