Looking for information on Samuel Johnson (1726 - 1789), his wife Lydia Ross (1725 - ~1800), and three sons, Samuel (b. 1751), John (1755 - 1835) and Nathaniel (1768 - 1840). Have Samuel's Will which states he was "of Turkey, Elizabeth Borough, Essex County." He left his homestead to his sons. I know much about sons John and Nathaniel and their descendants, but little about Samuel Jr. Where was "Turkey" and where was the homestead? Who were Samuel and Lydia's parents and siblings? Any information would be appreciated.
