"Hi again" to the original Lister seeking Johnson family location information, and perhaps the following may be of co-relation... On John Littell's 1845 map are to be found several lands of A. Johnson and Gabriel Johnson nearby to the Passaic River. If you draw up a www.yahoo.com map, and specificially for River Road, Chatham, New Jersey 07928, then view wherein Meyersville Road, Fairmunt Avenue, River Road, converge or near converge, that is the modern day vicinity of those Littell depicted Johnson lands, and within that same locality on that map is to be noted a "Johnson Drive". You can also view how closeby this is to (Turkey) New Providence. The Yahoo (Mapquest) maps may be zoomed both in and out providing some great perceptions. If this in any way ties to your Johnson family, I hope it may be of some useful info.
