Joseph McCord born ca 1828, son of Joshia/Joseph McCord of Elizabeth, NJ. Joseph married Elizabeth Roe Crossman in the Presbyterian Church, Springfield, NJ May 1853 by W. E. Locke of Springfield. I need children, siblings and mother of Joseph. Also need his and her death dates and where they moved to since I cannot find any further record in Springfield or Elizabeth, NJ. In the same time period I found the following on a Davison/Davidson McCord and I am wondering if he is related to Joseph. Do anyone have any info on Davison? 1850 Davison McCord, age 24, single, married Margaret W. Denman, age 20, single, Nov. 20, 1850 by Joseph Ogden of Chatham. Residence - Morristown. Married in Springfield. Parent - Isaac Denman. Recorded May 5, 1851 1853 No name McCord, born Feb. 19, 1853, son of Davidson (note d) and Margaret McCord Isaac McCord, mail, age 6 months, died Aug. 31, 1853, congestion of lungs. Parents - Davison & Margaret McCord. Recorded June 1, 1854 1866 Davidson McCord (note d), male, married, no age given, a farmer, died Nov. 3, 1866, consumption. Died in Elizabeth, NJ. Place of birth, name of parents and recording date not given. 1867 Margaret McCord, female, married, age not given, died Feb. 4, 1867, consumption. Name of parents & recording date not given.
