Hello All: There was a bank scandal regarding the National State Bank of Elizabeth about 1874. According to an article it had been found that the Bank had been defrauded by one of its trusted officers of about $34,000.00. I know that several officers were put in jail for this. Does anyone know what month this might have taken place or tell me where I might find more articles regarding this scandal - possible would it list those responsible for the "fraud"? Would appreciate any suggestions where to find any - thank you - Ahlive
