There's a view of the Singer plant in the lower right portion of the excellent bird's eye view of Elizabeth at the Library of Congress archives. To access, go to the Library of Congress website, Geography and Map Division. Select Panoramic Maps, Geographic Locations, US States, United States, New Jersey. Then select 15--New Jersey--Elizabeth c1898. Once yhou get the hang of how to navigate the map, you will find the sprawling Singer Plant amidst the railroad tracks about a third the way up the map on the far right. I think there is also an inset along the border of the map showing another view of the plant.
