I just received a very kind e-mail from a reference librarian in New Brunswick , CANADA. In it she says that there were 2 jouets from NJ, one probably from Elizabeth in the 18th century who wandered up to New Brunswick. Both were Loyalists during the American Revolution. Both Xenophon and John Jouet were members of the NJ Volunteers and later settled in Kingsclear Parish, NB. Xenophon's father was Cavalier Jouet who went to England due to the American Revolution. If anyone has info on either of these Jouet's I would appreciate hearing from you. Kathy
