    3. We just found an old business card.....Touchon's Floral Gardens, Growers of Quality Perennial and Alpine Plants, New Market, NJ Tel. Dunellen 2-6969-W. Now talk about getting nostalgic!!! This was my husband's grandfather. He died in 1937, so the card is pretty old. Jan Jacot, Could we possibly get a copy of the newsletter mentioned below about Leon Touchon? I will be glad to pay for copies and postage. Bruce says to ask you if you remember the Lawlers, Gunns, and Hewitts in Warren. He went to Watchung Boro and North Plainfield High School. (Long time ago! <grin>) I have had two emails bounce back from you, so I thought I would post to the list about the newsletter. Sydney {Here's how a Warren Township Historical Society newsletter (Vol. II, No. 1, Spring 1994 issue) reads, and there also is 1930s pixture of bar and dancehall with Sunoco Station in front: "Leon Touchon, whose ancestors were French-speaking Swiss, opened his general store and gasoline station on Stirling Road in the early 1930s. The area, then known as South Stirling (or Sterling) was sparsely populated except for nearby Plainfield Gardens}
