Jan, There were cobblestone streets in Elizabeth in the late 40s. We left there in the late 40s and they were there. Sure miss them..I remember all you mentioned. I went to Holy Rosary School..no longer there..sad..and my Grandpa was one of the founders. Grace O'Kane Bruce is a gem for sharing these cards. how I loved living there!
