I think the Peter below is more likely the gr-grandson of John Beemer. I show that D. Cortright Beemer was the son of Peter Beemer, Jr. and wife Fanny Cortright who were married in Wantage in 1811. This family did have a son named William Beemer born circa 1813. This could be the William Cortright Beemer who married Hannah J. Roloson, dau of Jonas Roloson and Nancy Hedglin.
