The Walpack Historical Society announced that the historic Van Campen Inn will be open for visitors every Sunday during the months of June - October 1pm - 5pm rain or shine,Van Campen day October 17. The Inn is located on Old Mine Road in the Sussex co., area of the Delaware Water Gap National Rec. area. The Inn built in 1740's has been restored by the National Park Services in the 1980's. There are not many of these Dutch farmhouse left standing in the park so it is worth a look, go early and bring a picnic lunch. There are walking trails not far from the Inn.
