I have some post cards similar to this of other locations. I saw someone buy one from my tiny little home town on eBay for over $125. I couldn't stand it,so I emailed the buyer and asked why someone would pay so much for such a post card. I thought perhaps she was from there also. She said many times, local businesses or residents would have travelling photographers take pictures and put them on post cards. Usually there were only 3-5 prints made of the particular picture. Most of the ones I have look like handwriting but are part of the print describing the picture. Light or dark wording depending on the background. The back side is usually a poor quality stock, and have a very faded printing of where to put the stamp and a line between the address area and message area--although not all have that.
