Thank you very much, Cathy! So now, from this, I know the Lemons moved to Oxford in May, 1772. Do you happen to find any mention of William Current in the deed books? He was already married to the Lemon's daughter, Esther, and I believed they moved to Oxford at the same time, but have no proof. William may have forfeited his lands in Oxford sometime between 1783 and 1793, due to his Loyalist activities during the war. (In 1783 he was character witness for his neighbor, Peter Appleman's Loyalist claim, so must have been living at that time still, in Oxford. In 1793 his son Joseph was listed on a tax list in Newtown. Wm. Current wasn't mentioned, but I believe they were living in the same household, as Joseph didn't marry until 1800. Then, in 1796 the family moved together to Niagara Dist., Ont.)
