Earlier I mentioned that I had run across the Lemon name in Jefferson Township Morris County deeds. I found 2 deeds. In one John Lemon quits his claim to property which had "decended from Robert Culver to Anna Raymond decd late widow of James Raymond decd." On the next page Anne/Anna/Nancy Lemone quits her claim to the same property. The grantee of these deeds was David Crager. There are other deeds involving David Crager and Robert and David Waer and this same property. I haven't figured out exactly how all of these people are related, and don't know if this Lemon family is of interest to you, but would be happy to correspond further if they are. What are the dates of the quitclaims you mention in Morris Co? Joseph had a son named John Lemon, b. Dec. 1750.
