The stories appear in their original form, although some have been edited for length. 100 YEARS AGO June 30, 1904 Swartswood Rev. and Mrs. H.W. SEIFERT celebrated the sixth anniversary of their marriage on Thursday evening of last week, by inviting the members of their church and friends to spend the evening with them. It was a beautiful moonlight night, and some sixty or more responded to the invitation. the personage was tastefully draped with bunting, and illuminated with Chinese lanterns. Ice cream and cake was served to the guests, and all enjoyed a pleasant visit. Before departing for their homes they presented Mr. and Mrs. Seifert with a purse of nearly fourteen dollars, as a toke of their regard. Again it is our sad duty to chronicle the death of another in our midst. Mrs. Fannie LOSEY, the young wife of Daniel KENT, died very suddenly on Tuesday morning of last week. It is all the more sad, in that Mrs. Kent had only been married about a year, and had just passed her seventeenth birthday. Her funeral was held on Thursday last at Baleville. Rev. C.W. MILLER who performed the marriage ceremony such a short time ago, preached the funeral sermon. Interment at Baleville.
