Tuesday morning of this week, Mr. Charles S. OSBORNE, Master Mechanic of the Sussex railroad company, met with a painful accident. He had the locomotive in the machine shop that he desired removed to the yard, and had ordered a locomotive to back up and pull it out, at the same time stepping between the tenders to make the coupling , when his left hand was caught between the bumpers. The hand was lacerated in a frightful manner, the flesh being torn loose, and some of the muscles cut. The wound is a painful one, and will lay Mr. OSBORNE up for some time.
