Still looking for the connections between and parents of - PETER RIKER ( born? - died @ 1805) His children: Martha Riker, born 1758 at "Hopewell" and married Joseph Headley Jacob Riker, of Milton, Morris County; owned forge on Rockaway River with John Dow. Abraham Riker of Hardwick, Sussex Co. Jeremiah Riker of Sussex born 1760-70 John Riker of Milton and of Sussex, born 1770 Cornelis Riker of Sussex born between 1774-1780 and maybe ?Levina married William Hardin born 1778, born "Passaic?" ?Electra married Isaac Black (about same time as Levina) ?Peter Riker of "Pequannock" who married Alida Doremus amd had children Cornelis Doremus, John, Jacob and Susannah during the 1790s. AND ABRAHAM MASSEKER (born ? - died after 1805) Elizabeth Masseker,(@ 1760?) married Gasper Rorick and lived in Wantage John Masseker, married Ann and had John who fathered most of the Hardiston and Vernon, Sussex County line. Listed with Jacob and Jeremiah Riker in 1793. Abraham Massecar who may have been the Massecar who went to Canada with wife, Sarah Slaght (Job Slaght) and two children Abraham (1792) and Job (1793) Others born in Canada. Nicholas Masseker who married Mary Slaght and went south with her father, Philip. ?Matthew Massiker who went to the Finger Lakes area about 1800, but is believed to have lived in Milton and was listed next to a John Riker in 1793. Matthew's children include Elizabeth (1783) and Abraham (1784), and others John (1793). Jacob (1795), Isaac (1797), Moses (1800) and Catherine. AND UNKNOWN MASSECAR , parent of John Massecar, married Elizabeth Slaght, daughter of Richard in @ 1787. Went to Canada in 1806. Taivess (AKA Teves, Seves, Stephias, Matthias and Matthew). Born 1768 Married Mary Slaght, daughter of Richard. Went to Canada by 1803. Daniel Masseker (listed with Taivess in 1793 in Hardiston, Sussex Co. No info. AND and UNKNOWN RIKER Married to Elizabeth. Elizabeth died in 1767 in Sussex and had a daughter, Elizabeth, mentioned in the inventory. This has been The Wall. Any help? Suggestions? Thanks! Ann
