First I checked the 1910 Census and I do believe the Emily 'Messa' from the 1920 Census (gr-mother of your George CARD) is actually Emily Myers/Meyers (abt 1847) , w/o Edward M. (abt 1844), both living in Lafayette with grdaus, Emily Richards (1896) and Florence Richards(1897). Florence here is listed as single. Now in 1915 , New Jersey State Census - Sussex Co., Lafayette Dwelling and Family - 63/64 Myers, Edward M., w m Apr 1844 71 M NJ NJ NJ Emily w f Apr 1847 69 M NJ NJ NJ Richards, Emily M. w f Oct?1895 19 S NJ NJ NJ Card, Florence A. w f Nov 1896 18 M NJ NJ NJ (listed here as married but no spouse in hh) George A. w m Jul y 1914 11/11 S NJ NJ NJ (matches your information on George from SSDI) In 1900 - Sussex Co., NJ for Lafayette, Florence A. Richards is listed as the granddaughter of this couple (making your George their great-grandchild) and living in their household is 's-in-law' John (W/U?) Richards (May 1868) along with their dau, Emily (I/J?) Richards (Apr 1880) and grandchildren, Emily M. (Oct 1895), Florence A. (Nov 1896) and Edward J. (Dec 1899). This census indicates that Emily J. Richards had given birth to three ch, all three are listed as living. NOT PROVEN, but Edward Meyers is likely the son of Roger Myers/Meyers and Eliza BELL. My conclusion thus far from the info above is the your George CARD, b 14 Jul 1914 was the gr-grson of Edward and Emily MEYERS/MYERS, grson of John RICHARDS and Emily MEYERS/MYERS and son of (unk) CARD and Florence A. RICHARDS. Does anyone from 'list' having any additonal information? Nancy Pascal
