Love, c. 1955, : Some collected tombstone records from Papakating Cemetery, where the original church stood, picked up in our (George F. Love's) travels. Phyla Martin died July 8, 1833, 70 yrs. old Nathaniel Martin died June 17, 1854, aged 91 yrs 9 mo. 17 ds. (His obit. is in the Newton paper) Isabella Teasdale wife of Humphrey born in England Aug 31, 1787 died Jany 29, 1861 aged 73 yrs 5 mo. 3 ds. Humphrey Martin died Sept. 30, 1878 aged 89 yrs 1 mo. 18 ds. Capt. Constant Fuller died Apr. 2, 1818 age 41 yrs 4 mo. 16 days Lydia Fuller died Sept. 16, 1854 age 87 yrs 22 days I believe these two were members of the church since the Fullers were of the original membership. Evi Adams Esq. (Judge) died Sept 14, 1828 aged 83 yrs 8 mo. 23 ds. Jane wife of Evi Adams died Feb. 27, 1816 aged 66 yrs. 29 days. Experience wife of John Cox died April 5, 1857 aged 89 yrs. 6 mo. 1 da. John Cox died Feb. 20, 1840 aged 74 yrs. 9 mo. 27 ds. Schooley Havens born Aug. 31, 1790 Nicholas I. Cox died Sunday Aug. 3, 1873 aged 84 yrs. 5 mo. 5 days. Merabah Cox died April 27, 1883, aged 89 yrs. 5 mo. 19 ds. Gosper Rorick died May 24, 1843, aged 95 yrs. (A Rev. soldier - we have his record from pension office) Azariah Martin Sr. died Dec. 6, 1822 - his stone disintegrated Sarah Dunn his wife died June 26, 1817 - her stone disintegrated James Martin died Mar. 29, 1851 aged 80 yrs 7 mo. Eilzabeth Martin died April 15, 1872, aged 86 yrs 7 mo. 16 ds. Thomas Martin died Sept. 28, 1841 aged 57 yrs 8 mo. 27 ds. Experience wife of Thomas Martin died Jany 25, 1851 aged 66 yrs. 24 days. I don't know which is correct.
