"Barney" (Bernard Hartley) CRABTREE was born ca. 1840 in Sussex Co., NJ, the son of JOhn CRABTREE and Eliza GIVEANS of Vernon. "Barney" married Catherine Ann COURSEN (date unk.). Catherine died 28 Feb. 1870. They had one child, Benjamin C. CRABTREE, born 1866 in Newton and died 18 Aug. 1889 in Newton. Both Benjamin and his mother are buried in Newton Cem., Sussex Co., NJ. I have a note that "Barney" was deceased by 1891. Can anyone give me a death date for "Barney" and where he is buried? IN 1870 census, he resided in Caldwell, Essex Co., NJ.
