Hi listers, I have 3 full obits from the Thursday, December 23 issue and 2 partial obits. This first one names survivors with the names TILLISON and CLOUSE. William SPANGENBURG. William SPANGENBURG, aged eighty-four years, of Hamburg, died Monday at Alexander Linn Hospital, Sussex, where he had been admitted the day before. He had been in ill health a long time and last Friday sustained a fall. For the past ten years he had lived in Hamburg with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis TILLISON. Until his retirement several years ago, he had been employed in the former. Union Waxed and Tissue Paper Co., at Hamburg. Besides his daughter, Mrs. Phoebe TILLISON, he leaves three grandchildren, Everett TILLISON, of Plattsburg, N. Y.; Mrs. Margaret CLOUSE, of near Sussex; Allan TILLISON, of Franklin, and also eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held thi[s] Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at ROBINSON's Funeral Home, Hamburg, with Rev. Truman KILBORNE, pastor of Hamburg Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial was in North Church Cemetery. Mr. Spangenburg was a member of Walkill Council, Jr. O. U. A. M., of Hamburg, and PULASKI Lodge, I. O. O. F., of Sussex. I am not a member of the Warren Co. or Northampton Co. mailing lists. It might be nice if somebody who is on one or both of these lists could post this next obit. Mrs. George C. RICE. Mrs. Sarah YOUMANS RICE, seventy-six, wife of George C. RICE, of Easton, Pa., and a sister of the late William YOUMANS, of Sussex, died Tuesday afternoon at her home following a paralytic stroke. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. E. D. YOUMANS and was born at Marksboro. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Ray, of Easton, and Levi, of Camas, Wash.; one daughter, Mrs. Helen ARNOLD, of Phillipsburg, and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine KERR, of Marksboro, and Mrs. Emma BOWERS, of Stratton, Col. Another sister, Mrs. Annie M. BIRD, wife of Isaiah B. BIRD, died last November 27 at her home in Blairstown. Funeral services will be held from the late home, 1040 Northampton street, Easton, Friday at 2 p. m. Burial will be in the Easton mausoleum. William S. DRAKE. William Stewart DRAKE, eighteen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edmon Drake, of Sparta, a student of Newton High School, died Tuesday of last week of meningitis at Newton Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Sparta Presbyterian Church and assistant superintendent of the Sunday school, a session of which he had not missed for five consecutive years. Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Flora M. DRAKE. Services were held Friday at 1:30 p. m. in Sparta Presbyterian Church. Rev. F. P. MUDGE, pastor, officiated, assisted by Rev. Edwin S. FORD, rector of St. Mary's Episcopal Church. Interment was in the Branchville Cemetery. Mrs. Harry HENDERSHOTT. [partial] Newton -- Mrs. Emma E. HENDERSHOTT, aged about sixty, wife of Harry HENDERSHOTT, died at her home in Washington street Wednesday night after an illness of two years. Besides her husband, she leaves four sisters,...[my copy cuts off here] This last is a little annoying. I don't have the name of the deceased because I only have the bottom of the obit. [father of Mrs. Earl LOSEY] ....survived by two granddaughters, Marilyn and Lorraine TINTLE, of Butler. The body was brought to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Earl LOSEY, of Pellettown, where funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock and at 2:30 o'clock at the Sussex M. E. Church, with Rev. E. G. VanTilburg, of Wharton, former pastor of the Sussex church, officiating, assisted by the present pastor, Rev. R. G. SAXE. Burial was in Frankford Plains Cemetery.
